HOMEWORK 20

The two different types of animations that I have chosen are Computer Animation and Stop Motion Animation and the meaning of these are:

1) Computer Animation: Computers can be used to perfectly create the shapes and colors of the animated action you want to create, working from a group of mathematical codes, or they can be used to build up hand-drawn characters if you wish to.

2.) Stop Motion Animation: Is a model or a puppet (shadow puppets were used in early stop motion) is shot a frame at a time, with a little changes in position are being made between each frame.

HOMEWORK 19

Rotoscoping is an animation technique in which the animators (the makers of the animation trace over the picture, fame by frame, for use in live-action and the animated films, adding an artist’s vision in to the movements of a human can create a unique story-telling, that is just as stylistic as any other form of animation.

What is meant by the term “Persistence of vision”?

Persistence of vision is the phenomenon of the eye by which an after-image is thought to persist for nearly one twenty-fifth of a second, the recognition of a visual image for a short period of time after the removal of the flash that produced the phenomenon that produces the error of movement when viewing the motion pictures.

What are the implications of Flash software running on portable devices?

A disadvantages of having a Flash software running on you portable devices, are; that the portable device that you have may work slow depending on the portable device and the WiFi connection that you have and another disadvantage is that the screen size of the portable device for example an iPad/tablet and an iPad mini/smaller tablet on a normal sized iPad/tablet that has a big screen and you can see everything but this an advantage, and on the other side the iPad mini/smaller tablet it’s all most half the size of a normal sized iPad/tablet and it has a smaller screen so you don’t get to see much in detail. an advantage of this is that if you have a portable device that is of a high quality then the Flash may more faster will be better for you, and if you have a high internet connection/WiFi.

My views on this is that the Flash software should not be used on a portable device and it should only be used on the desktop or an laptop.

The 3 main point we are going to look at are:

  1. Copyright Law
  2. Intellectual Property
  3. Photo Permission

Copyright Law: this is a legal concept rights that is given and granted to the author/creator of an original work of theirs that is represented by most of the government , which is including the right to copy, in other words you can say copyright as author rights.

  • The symbol of copyright © , or the word “Copyright”.
  • The name of the author/creator of copyright on the work, for example: © 2013 Tamkanat Rasool.

Intellectual Property: (IP) a piece of work or original that is the outcome of creativity, such as a document or a design, to which one has rights and for which one may apply for a clear, copyright, trademark, etc.

Photo Permission:the photos are safe by the law and through the rights of copyright a few photos are blocked on the internet by the government because of the criminal offense. Photo permission is important because, as the person who is asking for the photo to be used on their product or whatever they want to use it for, they must permission legally from the person that has publish this image and that can you actually use the photo.

HOMEWORK 14

An interactive product is used on a computer that will reaction on the action that the person will make on the computer, and this is by showing content for example videos, text, picture, animations etc. The world of interactive products is growing because of the use of it people use it as part is their daily life everyday, and some example of these are interactive white boards these are mostly used in school and business meeting in the UK, mobile phones/tablets you see these everywhere in all house they will have a tablet or a mobile phone, and they are every where spread over the universe and even children over the age of 8/9 have mobile phones in the UK now a days.

Advantages:  The web based software’s you can get it where every you are with an WI FI/ internet connections, you can use it on any device that has connection to the internet, so the web based software’s are portable, and you don’t have to install any-thing or download any software’s.

Disadvantages: you can not access the software with out an internet connection and the data that you put in to the internet can be publicized on web pages and could affect the businesses  in the way of copy writing.
